Artrepreneur & other updates

collection of papers sorted by color groups
My paper wall – hope to make it grow soon. I was always inspired by OCADU’s MAAD wall of yarn in the Fibre Studio.

First of all, I’m sorry for lack of news for the past few weeks.  Although, I announced that our February fevers have left – the crazy Canadian weather has continued to affect my family with the cold.  I’m crossing my fingers that the virus finally tires of hanging out at my house.

Secondly, I was accepted to the York Region Art Council’s Artrepreneur program – a creative business incubator program.  I’ll be attending session 4 tomorrow.  I’m honoured to be with very talented artists and business owners.  It has been a great program and I’m learning a lot.  It is allowing me to refine some details about my business and reorganize my strategy.

Thirdly, I put my Etsy shop on vacation after their revision of storefronts on April 5.  I am creating new designs, sizes, paper combinations, and packages.  It is my plan this week to update both my Etsy store and website to showcase some of my new designs.

I’ll be posting updates weekly now – a mix of my #paperlove, product news, work in progress.   Bear with me as I handle this business set-up around two rambunctious girls.

Wishing you all a great week,
